Jeff and Lilly Get Married Today!
Easter Day
We had a fabulous Easter day. Even though we were stilling feeling the effects of the horrible respiratory infection, we had a blast. The kids loved waking up to eggs everywhere that they got to hunt for. Then we went to Chris's parents house to eat. It was great!
Keeping the boys busy--we made a "laser spy" maze.
Silly kids!
My adorable husband.
Loudon's 6th Birthday
We were all set to have a fabulous Sponge Bob theme birthday party for Little Loudon--but then we all came down with a horrible respiratory infection! It was sad we had to cancel the party, but we still celebrated as a family and Loudon was a great sport about it. It just stunk being sick during the entire Spring Break!
The Sponge Bob cake I made Loudon.
The cake in progress.
I wasn't sure how to make Sponge Bob, but then I saw this juice box holder and--waa laa--it became the base for Sponge Bob! Loudon was just happy that he still got to open his presents even though we were all sick! He got lots of good books, some Skylanders figures for his Skylanders game, and clothes.

Oh and Easter was the next day! So we had to color Easter eggs, too!
Loudon and Mommy
And...the boys have been wanting me to make these little Altoid Tin Mice. They turned out so cute! I even made one for Amelia--they all love them!April 2012--Bundling Up to Play Outside
We were eager to get outside, even if it was a tad chilly. We bundled ourselves up and set out on an adventure to dig in mud, chase the dog, and find bugs that might be hiding in secret places.
Loudon found his old bug catcher and right away started finding his favorite bug--rollie pollies!Amelia wasn't so sure about the bugs, but she and Dexter did run many laps around the yard.
The boys turning over rocks in the yard to find more and more and more bugs! Yuck!
Dexter--ok, really he's not all that menacing. Sometimes his teeth just stick out! Poor silly dog!
Amelia was so worn out she crashed on the couch while I was making dinner that night--we much have played too hard outside!
Amelia in one of her favorite dresses (she LOVES being a girly-girl already!) and her new Hello Kitty boots!Daddy and his little Princess! She really does have him just wrapped around her finger. :)
Annual Nagle Easter Egg Hunt
For the past two years we've joined the Nagle's for a fabulous Easter Egg hunt. They have a cute chunk of property complete with chickens! The kids love going out there to play and the hunt is always a blast. Thanks, Nagles!
March Madness! 2012
Here are just some random March moments in the Smith house.
Amelia wanted her blankie tied around her so she could be a super hero like the boys.Parker helping Daddy make meatballs for dinner--Parker sure does love to cook!
Loudon deep in thought--probably obsessing over his Skylanders game or some science experiment he might want to try. :)
Amelia getting ready to go play outside with the boys. She loves her boots! Look how big she's getting...not a baby so much!
Loudon taking his sister for a ride in the Mustang!
My Dad's 70th Birthday Party
We tricked my Dad with a surprise birthday party for his 70th! We told him we were having a St. Patty's Day dinner on the 17th (his birthday is actually the 22nd). When he got here it was a nice surprise as it was a birthday party just for him. I love my Dad and I was delighted we were able to do this for him--he deserves to be treated special!
Opening all his great gifts--we spoiled him with a new Nook Color since he is ALWAYS reading!
Mom and Crystal enjoying the kids.
Miss Cool Milly Bean.
Sweet Loudon...and his favorite ladybug.
Sandy (Mom's best friend) and Sue.
