We were eager to get outside, even if it was a tad chilly. We bundled ourselves up and set out on an adventure to dig in mud, chase the dog, and find bugs that might be hiding in secret places.
Loudon found his old bug catcher and right away started finding his favorite bug--rollie pollies!
Amelia wasn't so sure about the bugs, but she and Dexter did run many laps around the yard.
The boys turning over rocks in the yard to find more and more and more bugs! Yuck!
Dexter--ok, really he's not all that menacing. Sometimes his teeth just stick out! Poor silly dog!
Amelia was so worn out she crashed on the couch while I was making dinner that night--we much have played too hard outside!

Daddy and his little Princess! She really does have him just wrapped around her finger. :)
